Marine biologists


The marine biologists study the peculiar fauna of the deep oceans and hydrothermal vent fields, such as sponges, tube worms and vent shrimps. By classifying which species of the marine invertebrates are present, they learn about how these creatures live together and became adapted to the conditions in the Arctic ecosystems.
