Since the Centre for Geobiology opened in 2007, its researchers have been undertaking research cruises every summer.

The Centre cruise work builds on important cruises undertaken in the Summers of 2006 and 2005, which found the first active vents north of Iceland in relatively shallow waters north of the Island of Jan Mayen. For more information, see the links below.
